Do you have an exceptional volunteer who deserves recognition, but don't have the
resources or venue in place for hosting a special celebration?
For the past three years, The Volunteer Center of LF/LB has provided
this venue— hosting "Women of Service & Style"—a
beautiful awards luncheon for women in the community who made
volunteering a part of their everyday lifestyle. Now, as Lake County
Cares, the event will be known as the "The I Care
Awards"-- an elegant dinner honoring men, women and youth on
April 24, 2010 at the Exmoor Club in Highland Park, Illinois. The
same intimate format will allow agencies and individuals to
recognize the extraordinary volunteers who have impacted their work
and lives in a very personal, and uplifting setting. Now accepting
nominations for the I Care Awards. Nominations must be submitted or
postmarked no later than February 5, 2010.
